Hi there, I’m Kate! I’m a therapist in Frederick, MD and I’m licensed in the states of Maryland, DC, South Carolina, Delaware and Florida. I specialize in treating eating disorders and trauma, largely using EMDR to do so!

After working with me, clients say they feel free to eat whatever they want, exercise however they please, connect deeper with their loved ones, and find past experiences influencing their current thoughts and behaviors less than before.

  • I have experience working with eating disorders at the PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels. Many of my clients have eating disorder histories and want to work through the deeper root issues with EMDR.

    I am formally trained and certified in EMDR, which means I am always looking at clients’ presenting issues through the lens of “how is the past informing the present?” I also use parts work at times to answer this exact question!

  • Of course, I’m warm and empathetic but more importantly, I believe in using humor to connect and dive deeper each session.

  • I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors degree in History and Applied Psychology. I received my Masters degree from George Washington University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
